The project explores how a residential community can offer the privacy and tranquillity of individual living. Rather than treating the landscape as a site to build upon, the masterplan follows the natural topography, allowing fourteen villas, two apartment buildings, and shared amenities to emerge as a coherent composition while preserving uninterrupted sea views and privacy for every residence.
The stepped organisation maximises daylight, creates generous roof terraces and private gardens, and separates pedestrian life from vehicular circulation through an underground access system. Architecture and landscape are conceived as a continuous whole, allowing the built environment to become part of the landscape rather than dominate it.
Guided by principles of horizontal architecture, passive environmental performance, and restrained materiality, Hermitage creates a timeless residential environment where community and individual retreat exist in careful balance.
