The project explores how a familiar residential archetype can be reinterpreted through subtraction and enclosure. Starting from the traditional image of a pitched-roof family house, the design wraps the entire volume within a continuous outer shell that unifies roof and façade into a single architectural expression.
This protective layer provides privacy from neighbouring houses while framing the landscape through generous openings at the front and rear. Carefully carved voids transform the compact volume into a sequence of interconnected interior and exterior spaces, defining circulation, daylight, and the organisation of daily life.
The result is a restrained and timeless residence where subtraction becomes the primary design strategy, balancing privacy, openness, and spatial continuity within a clear architectural form.
